Conduit is most sought-after start up by jobseekers June 16, 2013

Toolbar developer Conduit Ltd. is the most popular start-up for jobseekers in high tech, according to a survey by help-wanted portal Drushim. It is followed by Waze Ltd., which was sold to Google Inc. (Nasdaq: GOOG) for over $1 billion last week. The survey was conducted before the sale.
24% of the respondents voted for Conduit. 39.6% of the jobseekers said that they wanted to work for the company because of its business, 30% cited the technological challenge, 6.4% believe that they can obtain promotion, and 34% cited the company's potential to be sold.
Waze won 21.8% of the respondents' votes. 59.1% of the jobseekers cited the company's business (GPS navigation), 24.5% cited the technological challenge, and 5.9% cited the possibility of promotion. Just 10.4% of the respondents cited the chance that Waze could be acquired, but it is important to note that this was before the company's acquisition.
SuperSonicAds Ltd. is in third place, with 12.7% of the votes. 43.8% of the jobseekers cited the company's business (development of a platform for virtual products), 24.5% cited the technological challenge, and 5.9% cited the possibility of promotion.
The rankings are based on a survey of 1,008 high-tech jobseekers in Drushim's database. In the first stage, a preliminary survey was conducted on 300 people, who were asked what were their most important criteria when considering applying to a start-up. Technology and the professional challenge, the company's business, the possibility of promotion, and the potential of an exit topped the criteria. In the second stage, a wider survey was conducted, in which the respondents were presented a list of 41 leading start-ups.
